OUR PROGRAM

Renewal Ranch is a faith based 501(c)3 organization.  Our ministry Restores Broken Lives Through Christ and is based on the Word of God.  Our program is approximately twelve months, although he exact duration for each man is based on his personal Spiritual Growth.   Our participants can expect to spend approximately five months in Phase 1, two months in the Transition Phase, and 5-6 months in Phase 2.

Residents are required to live on campus in Phase 1 and the Transition Phase.  They are  housed, fed, and ministered to regardless of financial status. The men will receive extensive Bible Study and Life Skills classes each week led by local volunteers, pastors, and staff members. Attendance at Saturday Chapel services and Church Involvement are also required. Our men meet weekly with a Disciple Making Partner after about their third month in the program.

Renewal Ranch men are “promoted” to Phase 2 when they attain a sufficient level of Spiritual Growth.  Phase 2 includes life with accountability as the residents live in the local community and are reintroduced to society.  Phase 2 consists of group meetings, Bible studies, attendance at Chapel on Saturday, local Church Involvement, and a weekly meeting with the Disciple Making Partner.  These men primarily live in a community of apartments and work full-time while still being ministered to by the program and staff members.

A graduation celebration is held for those completing all three phases.

During the entirety of the program, residents will be encouraged and taught to develop a personal love relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this relationship, they can find freedom from the chains of addiction, forgiveness from their pasts, and hope for their futures.  We claim the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17 for every resident: “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

PHASE 1

Phase I is designed to teach men Biblical principles for living and to serve others. Residents attend 15 classes weekly taught by local pastors and teachers on Monday through Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday they perform community services projects and other work projects. Saturday is a time for chapel services and family visitation. Sunday is devoted to visiting churches throughout Arkansas and beyond.

A foundational element of our program is a dedicated team of caring volunteers who serve as Disciple Making Partners for the men. These are the brothers and sisters on the front line with our men, their Mentees.  Beginning in about each man’s fourth month of residency, the Disciple Making Partner will meet with him regularly to get to know him better, offer advice and counsel, pray with him, and help him meet any need that arises.

Disciple Making Partners guide their Mentees in the creation of a Man Plan that addresses these areas of their lives:

• Salvation

• Spiritual Walk (daily personal prayer and time in the Word)

• Relationships

• Guidance for Overcoming the World (emphasizing Church Involvement)

• Employment

• Financial Management

• Healthy Living

• Serving Others

• Giving

• Overcoming Legal Obstacles

Transition Phase

Phase 2 is the second six months of the one-year program, where each man “walks out” the things he has learned during Phase 1.  He is required to work at a full-time job or serve full-time in ministry. He must also meet his graduation requirements which include attending Bible study meetings, Church Involvement, attendance at Renewal Ranch Chapel services, completion of the Man Plan, and maintaining a strong relationship with his Disciple Making Partner.

Phase 2 is accountability-based and includes random drug and alcohol testing, nightly curfews, financial responsibility, and scheduled check-in with the supervisors.

Phase 2 is a “community” designed to provide support, encouragement, love and counsel for the men as they prepare to graduate from the program.  Many men need financial help as they enter Phase II. Low-cost housing in the Conway area is available to assist them to accomplish these objectives.  Some, if approved, will be allowed to move “home” if they have a healthy relationship with their wife, although these “non-residents” will remain strong community participants.
